Frame Fittings, Repairs, and Accessories

LENSES
We carry only quality lenses. All materials are available: cr-39 plastic high index poly-carbonate glass and safety lenses.
Lens options include:
- scratch coat
- td2
- crizal anti-glare
- transitions
- photogrey
- uv coat
- sunglass tints
- polarized
- mirror coats.
Lens styles include:
- single vision for distance, computer and reading
- executive
- flat-top bifocal/trifocal
- no-line progressive
* while all brands of progressive lenses are available, we recommend varilux - the most technologically advanced progressive lens.
* remember, not all lens options are available in all lens styles.
ACCESSORIES
We have a variety of accessories:
- cleaning cloths
- bottled cleaner
- chains and chords
- cases
- over-the-counter-readers
- small handbags
There are several styles of *Rec-specs for active and sports-minded kids as well as adults.
CONTACT LENSES
Contact lenses are not a stock item but can be ordered with a current and valid contact lens prescription. Most orders are received within 1 to 2 business days.
REPAIRS, FITTINGS and CUSTOM
Most repairs such as nose pad replacement, temple tips and frame screws can be done while you wait. Soldering jobs have to be sent to the lab but are usually back within a day or two.
There is no charge for fitting and adjustments regardless of where your glasses were purchased. If we can't fix the problem, it probably can't be fixed.
Already have a frame you like? No problem. We can make lenses for your existing frame. But be advised that the frame you have may no longer be available should it break and then you would be stuck with new lenses that may not be able to be edged for another frame. Just bring in your frame and we'll discuss what your best option would be.
INSURANCE
We no longer accept any insurance programs. If you have vision coverage and mention this website, you will receive a 20% discount off frame and lenses. This discount does not apply to contact lenses, miscellaneous items or frames without prescription lenses. We will be happy to fill out any re-imbursement forms your insurance may require at no charge.
However, DON'T FORGET that glasses and contacts are "MEDICAL". They can be claimed on your Flex Spending Accounts.
